Konohana’s husband and a City guard. Protects the Underground from conflict and outside influences. Patrols the lengths of caves between the outer world and the City. Had family and wives in the past, but now lives on his own for the most part due to Konohana’s frequent absence and distance. Somewhat abrasive and overprotective. Likes his alone time. Stern.

Has had three wives thus far. No longer sees his children who lead their own lives, though he doesn’t seem to mind. His previous marriages ended due to his enjoyment of being alone. Gets along so well with Konohana as they both enjoy their solitude. They spend most of their time “alone together” whenever they are in the same place. Does not appreciate the fact that Konohana plans on undergoing the Ritual of Thorns, though has yet to say anything about it. Came to the Underground after Konohana set up her base there. Has a good heart, deep down, but not the best at social skills.

Has a fear of rejection due to growing up under harsh circumstances in the Plague Kingdom. Food was scarce, and he often went hungry. Rations were only given to “worthy” hatchlings, and Peruvian’s parentless heritage often left him the target of bullying.
