Biography
Crocus is a big strong man of a dragon, who sometimes tries too hard to appear manly and tough. He secretly loves flowers.
As Crocus slept late one evening, surrounded by the rushing tides about our lair, his dreams drifted to a familiar yet unfamiliar place. One nestled not in the ocean, but in thickets of tall grass, swayed by wind and dappled with sun.
The hyper-masculine facade he put on was swept away as the Gladekeeper appeared to him. He no longer was bound to presentations, to expectations of any other dragon. His true, unabashed self bared before the Gladekeeper in all her glory, he was vulnerable and afraid. A voice, emanating from the very stones themselves and from inside his own head, spoke to him.
From somewhere deep inside, Crocus knew that he was not born of the Arcanist, that he was not meant to serve the Tidelord, that he was a distant son of the Gladekeeper. His passion for nature and all of its beauty could no longer be rejected. The Gladekeeper spoke to him of his true purpose, his true calling. His destiny.
He is a Chaotic Forest Spirit.
Crocus will someday unlock his potential and discover his true power, but until then...he will protect our lair with his life.
