Pyre has much difficulty describing her past relationship with this rural farmer turned city slicker, and she has an unfortunate tendency to wriggle into Pyre’s work, for better or for worse...but what else is new? Aquarius: An enemy turned friend, and possibly more. After having him track her for so long, Pyre found herself sharing stories with the hunter, and he surprisingly listened. Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it. Pyre is the careful cultivator of one thousand unique heartbreaks, and always manages to find a dragon or two in whatever clan they choose to visit that reminds them of their past love(s). When they invariably fail to live up to Pyre’s extremely high standards of love, they break away, leaving Pyre with the rose-tinted glasses their short time together forged. I came to the conclusion that the stifling formality of my previous home was far too constraining, and I was able to leave. I set out on my first journey, the only guide being my dreamer's heart and the direction of the wind. After some wandering, the breeze had blown me into a growing nature clan, the Clan of Laurels and Moss. It was very peaceful, or it was for a while, until another visitor decided to show up. An old clanmate of mine, Aquarius the bounty hunter. He entered the clan and was received warmly by the matriarch. If only she knew all he had done! O cruel fate! My dreamer's journey sent me right into the grasp of my pursuer.Naturally, I decided to tempt this fate. Aquarius could not pry me away from the clan without the consent of the leader, not without my consent. I stalled, until it seemed like I did not have to anymore. Predator and prey were soon exchanging stories, and eventually words of kindness. I am leaving soon with Aquarius the bounty hunter, but as a companion rather than a prize. @septarianflare, 325602 I adore the company of dear Aquarius, I really do. He has filled me with such vibrant inspiration! Though, he is definitely not the one for me. He reminded me of a lover I caught a good look of on my travels, I suppose. Thank you for accompanying me to Dragonhome and being my muse, Aquarius. Ah, but it appears that I will not be able to deliver the message to him. It seems like he had a similar idea, what a shame. . . I would have hoped that I could at least say goodbye before he left. I suppose he's just another lost love in the long list, as far as my life goes— ah, but I can write a poem on that! |
