Zada

A Kelari warrior and the younger sister of Kirai, the current leader of the Kelari, Zada remembers very little of her time in the Kelari royal halls as she was kidnapped at a young age and had many of her memories suppressed. Zada was taken amid the chaos and bloodshed of the Legion of the Forsaken's vicious attack against the Kelari and the Light Elves, though it's said that Zada saw the Shade Valga, the leader of the attack, in person, yet was the only one whom the Shade spared. The mysterious and shadowy warrior took Zada off-world and left her to grow up on her own, and due to this the Kelari had a very humble upbringing. She eventually became involved in the conflict of her new home and trained as a Hitokiri, or Manslayer. The shadow warrior returned not long after and presented her with a killer's blade, and though it seemed innocent enough a gesture, it held dark intent. While Zada never was able to make a pact with a spirit as is tradition for her kind, through the blood-stained blade she was given, she became bound to the trapped spirit of a dhampir warrior, a legendary Manslayer in his own time- Vyathir. As a result of this bond, Zada bears a ghostly blue mark on her cheek and, under certain conditions, can allow Vyathir to guide her actions, or even allow him to take control. Despite the nature of Hitokiri, the two bonded as if they had always been comrades. Zada has taken training from Vyathir and is feared across the world, and even beyond. She is known to drink the blood of her fallen or defeated foes, an urge that stems from Vyathir and reflects the needs that the dhampir can't fulfil in his current condition. Though currently driven by the bloodlust brought on by her path of a Manslayer, Zada is beginning to feel a deep sense of being lost, and longs for a real reason to fight, and live, for that matter. Vyathir seems to feel the same.
