In'theam "Nightforge"
A Shade warrior found slain among the haunted ruins of a castle in one of the darkest regions of Earth, one long forgotten by all save Warlord Vitoni, In'theam remembers little but terror in regards to the place of his death. Even his Ghost fears the place and has often recounted horrifying stories of the vicious, otherworldly spirits that haunt the area and the gruesome deaths tresspassers meet as a result of them. What brought down the mighty warrior to this day remains a mystery, though In'theam retains a very nasty scar from his original death, one that reacts to the presence of darkness. When the Shade first arrived at the Tower, he felt out of place and kept a good distance from the other Guardians, despite their willingness to let him in and some of their many attempts to befriend him. He felt as if the dark weight that lingered in his aura would cause harm and clash with the Light weilded by the other Guardians; In'theam has always felt that his Light is more distant from him than from others, which seems to be a consequence of the place and/or circumstances surrounding his original death. The Shade chose the path of a Hunter and often kept to the wilds, leading a lonely life. He also gained the name "Nightforge" due to the blades and armor he forges himself; anything crafted by his hand takes on the appearance of the night sky. In'theam finally opened up to Phoenix and joined his fireteam, which consisted of him, Phoenix (Warlock), an Elf named Tynori (Titan), and a Fallen Captain called Kiliks (Warlock). During one of their toughest missions deep behind enemy lines, In'theam was captured by the cruel warrior called Sevius and dragged off-world, where he was subjected to many painful experiments. By the time In'theam escaped Sevius and his deranged warriors, he was changed. He is currently stuck in a state where he is partially wraith, partially physical much like Lif is, though not to quite the extent of Lif's condition. In'theam wants more than anything to return to his fireteam, but he is currently under the mind control of one of Sevius's warrior assassins, and while this warrior called Assharu won't let In'theam go, he refuses to allow any further torment through experiments.
