arcane_3.png 		Despite his advanced age, Abyss is still considered quite a terror in combat. With quick, hard hits, the Wildclaw has bested many foes. However, one stormy evening, it would appear he had met his match. He stumbled upon the Fire clan Veldirsong with extensive injuries from a previous battle, before collapsing.

Abyss awoke three days later, bandaged and in a soft bed. His fiery pink eyes spotted another Wildclaw in the room, her hide darker than even his own, adorned in delicate blue silk to match her intense eyes. After demanding to know where he was, she told him what had happened.

Despite his pride hurting more than his injuries, Abyss thanked the female and told her that he would be on his way out. The other Wildclaw, Lorel, advised against it, for she knew how much a battle injury can hinder a dragon. Abyss realized that Lorel was also a warrior of sorts, though lately she had been tasked with healing those who are injured.

Reluctantly, Abyss agreed to stay until he was healed. He even offered to help the guards keep watch for any threats heading for the clan. From there on, that's where he ended up staying. The dragons, hatchlings, nearly all of them had hearts as warm as the fires around them, and he found himself caring for them all.

Before, he had no home to call his own. But now, he hoped, that this would be different.
