True Love’s Curse ___1___ called, "Come on ___2___! You know I’ve been wanting to go to this fair for ages! There’s all sorts there to do and you’ll love it." ___2___ sighed, “I’m not so sure, it doesn’t sound so convincing, perhaps a little too strange”. ___1___ chided, “Ignore those rumours, it will be fine.” The two dragons headed to the fair. They played some games and watched a show in a big tent to both of their enjoyment. On their way out, ___1___ noticed a small tent with a sign above saying ‘Crystal Clear’. “Crystal Clear? What can that be?” The two dragons headed inside eager to find out more. Inside a ___3___ sat with a crystal ball. He was covered in spots but neither dragon thought much of it. “Ah, I knew these were real! You can see our futures, right?” asked ___1___. |

The dragon with the ball nodded. “Yes, of course. I can do it for a small fee. Though I think we’ll start with your friend here, ___2___, as they seem to have better manners…”. ___1___ blushed and handed over a few coins. “I don’t really want my future reading, do ___1___, it’s fine” ___2___ uttered nervously. The dragon with the ball shook their head. “No. It must be you. To start, you will need to drink this potion”. He handed over a small vial of crystal clear liquid. ___2___ looked hesitant, but drank it. The ___3___ with the ball laughed. “Good luck with your cursed future!”. He stood, turned around and headed out of the tent. “I told you I didn’t want to go to that stupid fair! Look what’s happened now! I’ll be like this forever. Cursed for all eternity!” muttered ___2___. |

“Oh come off it, you actually believe you’re cursed? He’s just playing tricks with you. You pay them some treasure, they ‘pretend’ to read your future and you all have a good laugh. That potion wasn’t real, it’s all for show. I admit he was really spooky, those spots didn’t help much, but it’s all an act!”, replied ___1___ “I’m not so sure ___1___. I don’t feel quite right...my wings! Look at them. They’re coming out in those same horrible spots. My legs too! ___1___ help me, please!” Behind the tent, ___3___ laughed. It had taken awhile to convince a dragon to drink what he was offering - most left at the sound of it. You didn’t need a potion to tell your future after all. But these two innocent dragons were easy to fool. He wasn’t convinced the potion would work at first - the witch who helped him didn’t seem genuine, but it had worked. A bit of ___4___ and ___5___ and that was that. His curse had left him. That poor, poor ___2___. He hoped they’d find a cure one day. |
