Child to Light warriors, Aniah's dream always was to be like them. A mistimed move to the Blacksand Annexe has all but shattered that dream, Flamecaller's magic infusing the newborn hatchling like black ash filled her lungs.
Unhappy with life in the forges, she ventured out travelling, avoiding Sunbeam Ruins at all cost. Another chance, however - an injury mid-flight - saw her recovering in the hands of the healers of a little clan wedged between the Hewn City and the sea. There, she met someone. Someone like her.

A massive Ridgeback clad in armour of white and gold towered over her. The spark of the Flamecaller burned in her eyes, but the sigil of the Lightweaver glimmered on her wing.

"Like to feel sorry for yourself, do ya? Poor little me, I'll never be like my mommy and daddy. You want a place under the Lightweaver's wing?" - a sharp, glimmering talon jabbed against Aniah's chest, almost toppling her over - "Earn it".

She now is doing exactly that, training under both Barite and Azurite to become a Light Elite. She took the name Tektite, too, happy to become a part of the clan and leave her past behind.

She is now considerably less happy with the name, ever since Azurite suggested it's fitting to be named after meteorite glass, since she literally fell into her destiny with the clan.
