Its presence may be known by a blight of egg rot and grotesque hatchlings as it snatches eggs from unattended nests and bathes them in the filth of the Wyrmwound before returning them.

Scorpion astrals are beings of maladaptation and unfavorable mutation. Their presence forces those nearby to fight with their own bodies in order to survive as horns, teeth, and claws grow at increasing speeds. None will actively seek conflict, but they are dirty fighters who will defend themselves with extreme prejudice.



the caretakers are the first to discover the rot. they do everything in their power to keep the hatchlings from dying, but it happens anyway
