Nightingale checked off the last mark from her list. At least the lair of the Stormcatcher was finally increasing production. The Lightning harvest was going well and it would only be a few more days time before she would be able to get the fae division to finally start concentrating on shifting the messages back and forth instead of gossiping at the water tank, coffee in hand. It was hard enough to understand a single one, let alone fifty small flutters with monotone voices that droned on and on. Still, it wasn't as bad as the pearlcatchers who couldn't let go of their pearls long enough to work on any projects. She knew she would have to figure out a way to get them to collaborate in a different way... though the next time one came up to her complaining that their pearl was 'blue-screening' she would have to be rather forceful to her copier.

Which reminded her... The spirals were asking for 'hazard pay' as they darted between the machines and other tech as needed. She promised them at least double what they were getting now which they accepted happily but she knew that one of them would realize just exactly what 'double nothing' actually entailed. She would have to figure out another diversion for them soon. Absentmindedly she picked up a pen from a near by desk and stuck it behind her horns, moving though the work space filled with dragons of all sizes. The guardians would need to be chided again. There had been an uproar in the Upper Deck when a red stapler had gone missing. Why the red one was special, she wasn't sure but the guardian in question was not happy when she suggested to replace it with a regular black one. Shaking her head, Nightingale moved on.

The children's crèche needed repairing again where some rambunctious mirrors had decided to scuffle and eat some of the surrounding fences. While the wildclaws made great security, they did have a habit of egging the younger mirrors on until someone got hurt. Luckily, the coatls were useful in the arts of metals and often were called upon to repair the lightning rods, generators, or even simple things like the fence used to keep the hatchlings in until they became productive members of the Lightning Flight. Most of the Tundra were stationed with the younglings as they made calm mediators for even the most energetic cub.

Checking off another mark on her list, Nightingale needed to remember to contact the snapper force and find out if there was any new developments in the materials quadrant. Strong, with good memories, they were best at cataloging the inputs and sorting out the outputs, even foraging for more to add to the growing collections. Her own breed, the ridgebacks, were also good at 'collecting' new items for the experimental quadrant though they weren't quite as good at recording said items. Thinking about the experimental quadrant, Nightingale decided to head towards the larger spires with the intent to check up on the imperials working there. Some unexplained explosions had happened the other night. Probably caused by either fae, mirror or spiral, but still, it was her job to research such things to keep the lair in ship-shape order for maximum production. For in the age old words of the Stormcatcher...
