ABCTAFN.png Hymn heard the faint buzzing all around her, a faint beating of wings amplified by 100 times, 100 tiny bodies all flying frantically. Her body was a nest, a hive holding many lives.

These fireflies did not harm her, in fact Hymn believed that had certain healing properties. And she managed to convince others of this too.

Dragons would travel from miles away to receive the healing benefits of the insects that lived in her feathers. Although there is no proof that they helped healing, Hymn always insisted that the insects held old magic, and that was why she had never gotten sick.

And anytime a patient who visited her didn't get better, well, she insisted they just didn't treat the fireflies right, so they were unable to feel the full healing effect...
