Nisos spent most of his earlier years working among a group of dragons within Dragonhome whose aim is to maintain fresh water sources in earth flight's lands. He and his twin sister were always quite happy with their work, and care greatly for the rest of the dragons within Oasis.

In spite of the comfort the twins felt back home in Oasis, their worldview widened when a band of travelers and merchants came through earth's territories. The group called themselves Cresset, and unlike Oasis, they had no singular goal in mind when deciding they'd stick together. They simply travelled Sornieth for their own reasons, each individual at heart, but coming together to count on one another when things were tense.


Though his sister had reservations, Nisos was immediately enamored with the idea of world travel. Wether by foot or by wing, he was ready to set off with these dragons—who he excitedly got to know immediately, mind—and explore every location Sornieth has to offer. There was, of course, the problem of convincing Nisi to come along. Although he could part with the rest of Oasis after drawn-out goodbyes, travelling without his sister was something he just couldn't do. He quickly formulated the plan of extending Oasis's work to every inch of Sornieth—why stop at Dragonhome when the Scarred Wasteland is in need of fresh water sources, after all? With much ado and preparation, the two managed to say their goodbyes before leaving home with Cresset, expanding their mission of water source restoration from Dragonhome to Sornieth.
