Biography

Garnet was hatched on her own, an abandoned presumably dud egg left alone in the Ashfall Waste. Nurtured until adulthood by Cinder Nymphs, Garnet chose to establish her own family: Smolderkeep.

A stalwart but kind leader, Garnet found appreciation for dragons of all walks of life whose scales themselves presented honor to the Flamecaller. Dragons who encounter Garnet who do not share a warm coloration are often put to work and eventually sent off to serve the Flamecaller for eternity.

For a while, Garnet assumed she was devoid of markings, but as she further matured, and as she surrounded herself with other warm-hearted dragons, her scales took on more color, and the Flamecaller blessed her with her own unique appearance.

Garnet developed a deep bond with a yellow Pearlcatcher, Chrysoberyl, who has vowed to protect Garnet at all costs.
