Biography
When he was young, Strider ran with a clan who was in the process of teaching him to be a guard to protect the clan's leader. They abandoned in the wilderness and left to fend for himself and said that if he survived a week, he would be fit to protect the clan.
Strider was dreading the barbaric practice and used this opportunity to escape. Armed with the bare basic survival tools, a bow and a quiver full of arrows, he fled. Each night travelling further and further away from his old clan.
These days turned to weeks and weeks to months as he survived in the harsh and brutal wild. He honed his skills in tracking, bushcraft, arrow making, hunting and so on. He became so stealthy he was a practically a shadow in the night.
After months of being alone, he decided he would start looking for a new lair to call home so he began the search. A few weeks of jumping from whatever clan would take the grouchy and anti-social dragon, he came across one of Charlie's patrols in the night and was brought before her as a potential threat.
With her gift to see other dragon's hearts, Solaris declared that Strider wasn't a threat and secretly had a heart of gold and a will of iron. Charlie listened her most trusted friend's judgement and decided Strider would be aloud to stay with the clan if he so wished to which he agreed to.
It was a rough start for the dragon who had near no social skills. He struggled to talk to the members of the lair, often unintentionally sounding intimidating. Charlie started to doubt Solaris' judgement but was told to have patience and faith in the newcomer. Sure enough, Solaris was right. Strider calmed and settled into the group. He took lessons on how to communicate and socialise with others and he enjoys the company of everyone he talks to and is around.
