A long, long time ago, a Guardian named Charlie lived. Charlie was a kind soul, and, along with his childhood sweetheart-turned-mate, Drakka, founded the Infernal Clan in the outskirts of the Wandering Contagion. They lived together happily, but it wasn’t meant to last.

Charlie was killed in a border scuffle with the neighboring Shadow Clan, grievous wounds too much for his thick hide to handle. He held Drakka’s talons close as the life left his eyes… But that wasn’t the end.

Charlie woke up in a sea of churning disease, his memory hazy and his mind split in two. He clawed himself to the surface, and found his claws foreign. Soon he realized his entire body had irreparably shifted. Long torn wings, twin tails, and two heads, traits no Guardian harbored. Confused and somewhat scared, Charlie began wandering the Scarred Wasteland, trying to find his way to a home he no longer remembered.
