Lanuria

Her siblings came out with a sheen over their bodies just like she did. A bright blue shimmering wave, the brightest out of both of her siblings. Moments after she was born, however, the brightness faded. She was struck by a debilitating illness called the Crawling Darkness. Her parents were horrified, fearful that their child was going to die. The lines on her body turned to a murky black, signalling that she was ill. Her childhood was spent weakened and she wasn't allowed to go outside and play with the other dragons. Even now she is frail and weak, having battled her illness and come out victorious though not unscathed. She keeps to herself, bitter at the world around her. She's quiet and moves like an old branch creaking in the wind. Tired and seeming so much older than she really is. Her eyes are tired and filled with a cold fire. Then, an old purple skydancer, like a shadow of her, drifted out to make an offer. "Do you want to have power...?" She agreed.

Lanuria then woke up on the edges of the wandering contagion, confused and lost with no memories other than what her name was. She was soon found by Kriem and Kameo who quickly took the poor amnesiac dragon in.

It was soon found out that she was in perfect health despite her sudden appearance and she had powerful magic swirling at her clawtips. Though as she remained in the clan, not having anywhere to go, she changed from her previous self, becoming kinder, softer and gentle.

She grew close to an extravagant coatl in the clan, Florien, who return didn't find the markings left over from when she was sick(not that she recalled how she got them, only that a few dragons in the clan told her they looked like leftover marks from a serious illness) gross or strange, but instead liked her just the way she was and the two eventually became mates.

She had a brief relationship with Nymm during his stay at the clan, but due to his nature and how sick the contagion was making him, he left and they broke off their relationship on mutual terms, though not long after Lanuria found she was with child and laid three eggs. The eggs hadn't hatched by the time she became mates with Florien, but he promises to treat them as if they were his own when they hatch.
