Biography
Merely a blue speck along the shoreline was unusual enough to pique the interest of Aurum, a guardian dragon flying overhead. Perhaps it was a fish who had unfortunately washed up on shore, the guardian pondered as she made her descent from the clouds. The wind gushed heavily against every beat of her shimmering wings and her claws sunk into the sand under her weight. Upon having a closer look, the large dragon was shocked to see that it was a blue baby dragon that had washed ashore.

Despite being carried across violent crashing waters for an unknown amount of time, the baby dragon looked to be sleeping quite peacefully. The dragon was a Coatyl youngling with leopard spots, transparent wings, and opal markings that glistened in the early sunlight. The vibrant blue cobalt color of the little Coatyl stood out amongst the glistening brown sand. The tide was coming back in, so Aurum cradled this little one in her talons near her chest and carried her to the sanctuary. Aurum returned safely to the Sanctuary and many of the dragons had already smelled a new dragon and curiously came out from their nests. This new dragon smelled vividly of the ocean waves and trees along the shore. The other dragons gathered around just in time to see this little one open her eyes to reveal deep green eyes indicative of the Nature flight. Oranda stepped forward to see the new dragon.Will you take this youngling under your care, Aurum? Aurum was the guard and warrior of their peaceful sanctuary, not a foster mother by any means, but something about this youngling encouraged her to accept this offer. Oceane will be her name. Oranda accepted this and proceeded to bow respectfully to the new mother followed by the other dragons. Oceane will become a fine warrior under Aurum’s careful guidance and care. |
