Feru Thrasir (Lif)
A Shade warrior rumored to have been the first king of the sacred realm called Askyr, a realm known for the ability to open doorways to other worlds, he has all but forgotten his time as the just ruler he was. Lif was once known as Feru and he maintained good relations with the other kingdoms of the world, including the realm of Albel's birth, and often came to their defense. His memories are blocked by a shadowy wall around his mind, one that even Lif himself can't break. It is said that Lif was corrupted when he came in contact with a tainted power while on the battlefield, a power that took hold and didn't really do much to change him until after the loss of his realm, his comrades, and the heavy feeling of guilt that has clung to him. All that now forgotten, Feru has become Lif, a general of death and suffers an unexplained condition of being partially wraith, partially physical. While the curse heightens his physical and magical abilities, it pains him severely and causes a startling physical appearance. Lif is one of few words, though even as a general of death, his loyalty remains to his comrades.
