Eris

Eris is kind of a myth to the residents of the Runelight Hallow. She's known only to the young children and those who live on the outskirts of the town. But her impact is felt by all the dragons who come in contact with her.

She's known as a local goddess of the hunt and foraging. When children play in her domain, a small glen near the south-eastern corner of the Hallow, they often find piles of berries and sweet things to eat. Struggling families will find piles of food at their doorstep the day before their loved ones go hunting. Nobody ever sees who leaves them in these places, but they all know who did. It's grown to even the best hunters leaving offerings to her the night before a big hunt.

Every now and then, hoards of food will appear in the local bank, with no donor name or a hint to who left it overnight. But Eris is good about letting people know she's around.

Her signature is a sparkling of magic in the color of her wings. When children glimpse her from the corner of their eye, they can find her sparkles left in that place as well. Good children find ribbons tied to branches in perfect bows, and bad children find perfectly placed piles of poo where they were sure there was none before.

Not many know Eris is just a dragon, be it with some heritage of the Nightspinners. Her magical powers are far greater than sparkles and pranks on bad children, but she likes to keep quiet and avoid all those who seek her. Her duties to the clan are well felt, and that's what she lives for.
