Keeper
Nero is the Keeper of the Hibernal Lair though the prisoners he is in charge of watching are the dragons that are suppose to stay in the hibernal lair at night. Sometimes the clan doesn't want to fall asleep in the lair while some dragons enjoy their time down in the caves (special thanks to those Earth dragons). Imperial love to sneak out as they love to spread their wings and fly throughout the jungle if they are given this option over the cave so that's one problem Nero has to deal with. Another would be the Tricksters trying to mess with the other dragons at night while they sleep in the hibernal lair. And finally there are the random dragons that wake up in the middle of the night like Caroline the blind Nocturne who loves to sleepwalk in the middle of the night too. In fact Caroline isn't the only one who does this, the fact is that many of the Night of the Nocturnes are quite peculiar, especially Rudolf who is asked to help dragons escape the hibernal den or causes problems with the other imperials. While Nero can count on Speranza to make sure no one gets outside, he is responsible for making sure none of them mess with each other or try to make it to the outer levels of the den where they hang out during the day (meetings and eating areas). Think of Nero as a RA or hall monitor.
Dragons that try to mess with each other and get out are common especially since many of them don't like being cooped up when they would rather play in the jungle or watch the stars while lying in the tree canopy. Nero tries to help ease the wants to leave their rooms out night by spreading the decorations that none of the Gaolers like at their HQ around the lair and in the dens to make dragons more comfortable and making their dens more like their outside homes.
