"Death can be a gift if you use it right." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Ever since he was young, Zero has held a fascination with death, life, and the energies that make them both so special to dragons all around. Spoiled rotten by two yielding parents, he was allowed almost anything he wanted from a very early age- Almost immediately, 0 began tinkering in the energies he was always so curious about. First, he started small- Resurrecting mice, experiments with said mice. An odd dragon from the get-go, who knew that such an eccentric child could cause such extensive trouble... Of course, when his actions were discovered, Zero was disowned. He fled from his home in the Plaguelands, having never liked it anyway: He fled to the Arcane territories, the Starfall Isles. Among the warping energies he found himself much more in tune, and thus began his experiments again; Meddling and life and death is for some reason so satisfying to his twisted mind. Of course, he dabbles in most types of magic, but Necromancy is his favorite. He looks to be only in his mid 30s, but he is actually so much older, having been sapping the life force from other dragons and using it to replenish his own. When he first arrived in the Isles, he came across a large stone temple- An Imperial lived there, one that thrummed with so much magic energy that it had warped his body, growing crystals over him as a sort of disease. The drake living there, Starstone, offered him a place to go after being told a sob story: Zero had gotten very good at lying since his exile from his birth clan. After only a short time, he attempted to sap life from the crystal Imperial: His biggest mistake to date. Starstone quickly learned his intent; He was not alive. Once, the Imperial had been, make no mistake: But now he is not. Zero barely escaped his rage with his life; One of his wings doesn't work properly because of the damage that Starstone caused... However, Zero has found himself welcomed in the Starwood Strand. He keeps his distance from the Windswept and instead saps travelers and traders: His one goal is control, and though money means little to him, he can shift around his personality very easily to mislead. Though he takes great pride in his skill with magic and is oftentimes cold and cocky, he has found himself faced with an adversary: Rose herself. She surpasses him in skill greatly, but if he could just find some way to bring her down, then maybe, just maybe, he will gain the control he is so desperately seeking...
