Lux

Lux Shanno
An Eldarian warrior and a former of the 13th Independent, Shanno lost his crew and his best friend, Ishtar, during Eldar's crisis, and he himself was severely injured trying to save him. Lux was too ashamed and guilt-ridden to return, the only survivor, to his commanding officer, afraid that he would blame Lux for his brother's, Ishtar's, death. Instead, he took the only functioning Sol fighter left on his ship and disappeared, and was presumed KIA by the Eldarian 13th, who mourned him as a lost hero, as he and Ishtar and saved many lives in their battle. Lux was forced to land on a world unfamiliar to him and he eventually blacked out from his injuries. He woke up three days later, wounds bandaged and with a backpack of supplies he didn't have before, at an inn. He was also informed that his bill had been paid and his Sol had been repaired as well; he still has no idea who tended him, and wishes to know. From that point on, Lux became a wandering warrior, and later on a mercenary blade, wandering the stars. Lux has an incredible and deadly reputation in CUT races- no-rules, aerial skirmish races known for their high amount of casualties- and has actually scared participants into backing out of the race. It's also said that he took on a hunt at the side of the Dunpeal Hunter called D. Recently, Lux was hired on by Vaothar, who treats him as one of his own and Lux has come to feel quite at home with his new allies. Incredibly loyal and dedicated to the squadron he leads for Vaothar, determined not to lose anyone else, and this loyalty extends to all his other comrades as well. Lux is still haunted by the pain and guilt of Ishtar's death, and has a bit of a drinking problem as a result.
