With both of her parents being brilliant hunters, Limerence learned soon enough that prey usually stands no chances. However, she chose to use own mind over all the weapons. Gifted with esper powers, Limerence struggled and trained hard to develop them. As a result, she can toy with memories and intentions of others, manipulating them with ease.
Her role at the Project for now is 'persuading' the most stubborn individuals to join, as well as convincing those in need to undergo extremely painful and dangerous procedure and shift into Pearlcatchers using scrolls. Her subjects tend to forget their previous lives, believing in their own free will to stay and follow. Almost everyone with whom Limerence worked now seem attached and even attracted to her, and she, despising these artificial feelings, prefers to use her powers only when threats and pleads are no longer working.
Once kind child, Limerence understands the danger and questionable morality of the Project, but something similar to morbid curiosity pushes her into ruining more and more lives, and she obeys mostly without feeling guilty.
