Intact Parchment 		In a land such as Siraeth, it is hardly surprising that there is an abundance of legends and folklore: whispered stories passed from small town to small town, growing more wondrous and strange with every retelling. One such myth is that of the being known as Notus, an ethereal watcher who is said to come and go with the shimmer of the mountain mists at dawn. Though many tales have been told of them, each wildly different from the last, one thing remains consistent across them all: their appearance, that of a dusky orange spiral with wistful eyes as pale as the waxing moon.

The beliefs surrounding Notus vary. Some believe them to be nothing but a trick of the mist: others believe that they are a harbinger of misfortune, or a lost spirit who wishes to condemn others to the same fate as their own. However, the truth is far different from any of these beliefs, and much stranger.

Notus is not a dragon, nor are they a spirit. They are an immortal being, a keeper of memory and the past itself. They are countless fragments of memories in a draconian form. They can travel to any moment in history, watching long-forgotten memories unfold as if for the first time, before vanishing again, a fading ripple in the mist. Their dominion is limited to the past, however: they cannot exist in the present or future, though what exactly determines the line between past and future is as hazy and unclear as Notus themself.

had this dragon since before my hiatus and theyve come through... a lot of changes!! they were originally named Cobra (he/him) and looked like this:

The second image shows the same dragon wearing apparel: a necklace with blue and red beads, a brown vest, white fur gloves and white cloth wraps on his chest and tail, some bags and some towels around his waist. He also has some scars on his hind legs.
Cobra's familiar was a Ultimate Buttersnake named Ultramel and his lore was that was a beastkeeper of some sort. after my hiatus i didnt want to get rid of him but he didnt fit in my lore anymore so he just sorta. sat there for 20 months. but ive finally gotten a new idea for them!! so yeah. just wanted to put this here to remember how they originally was haha :D
