Viz was created when Eris had to discharge the huge amount of arcane magic she'd managed to overload herself with. The egg that resulted hatched into Viz, an eternal hatchling with a perfect memory and the ability to see potential futures. He was raised singlehandedly by Eris, despite some worries from the dragons close to her, and grew up smart, sweet, and just a little spoiled, with a deep-set loyalty to Eris and the clan. He uses his power in service of those two things: he helps organise the clan's various projects and plans, which in turn takes some of the weight of Eris' shoulders. He has a little bit of a superiority complex, and hopes to take over the clan from Eris someday. |

Born of Hecate and her Thrall, Millie was never expected to have a long or happy life. Hecate never wanted hatchlings, and she didn't plan to keep any that came about through her relationship with her thralls. Their usual fate would be some brief training in magic, before being sent to serve the gods. The hatchlings tended to inherit some of Hecate's prodigious magical abilities, though they never had the time to fully develop them When Millie hatched, however, something broke through the spells that kept Thrall subservient. The lean contours of his body that were so similar to hers reminded her that this was her own hatchling, and that she shouldn't let him go just yet. Under the pretence of training, Thrall found a lair that would take her hatchling, and said goodbye for good. She went back and told Hecate that Millie had been killed by the beastclans, and contented herself that at least her son would grow up in peace. |
