Sparky never knew his parents. While this is not an especially strange thing for a goblin- goblins have a fairly high on-the-job mortality rate- Sparky's situation is rather odd. See, he grew up in the circus. Raised mostly by a bugbear ringmaster and an orc beast tamer, he was taught by all the bizarre circus folk you can imagine. He was trained in alchemy by a kenku fireworks maker, taught to juggle by an Illithid, instructed in acrobatics by a thri-kreen. He loves his strange little family.

Sparky is clever and sneaky, as most goblins are, but surprisingly kind and generous for one of his kind. He's happy to help his companions (though he must prioritize himself, of course), especially if the help they require involves fire or explosions. He loves showing off- especially if it earns him a coin or two- and often spends his free time putting on a little show on the street, juggling or eating fire or doing acrobatic tricks. In a battle, he usually juggles his bombs before he throws them.
