Biography
Coming from the Arcane flight, Locke always had an interest in the stars. It may have been due to the influence of their deity, the Arcanist. He was always bedazzled with the way they were arranged, and how they looked like some of the markings on his body. Too bad they didn't match any constellations in the sky.
Unfortunately, the arcane lands were filled with dazzling lights and sounds that made stargazing difficult. Thus, he decided to move to a cooler, quieter, darker place, and that's how he found himself in the tundra.
Of course, he had not counted on the clan being so colorful themselves. But regardless, at least he had a more peaceful stargazing.
And with the paper and ink scattered about everywhere, he decided to make his own catalog of stars and constellations, replete with fanciful mythologies to color the skies.
THE STARGAZER AND THE RAINBOW
In a cold, snowy land, there lived a stargazer. He mostly kept to himself, and was often asleep during the day. He did most of his work in the night--cataloging the heavens, admiring the stars, imagining ways to divide them to make vague shapes. He was lonely, but he never seemed to yearn for companionship.
His keen attention caught the eye of an air spirit. She also did her own observation on the world below. But what caught her eye was the seemingly lonesome astronomer, who always seemed to be intently observing the movements of the heavens at night. She was intrigued. She decided to visit him one night.
There had been rains in the early evening, and the astronomer was thus disappointed when he peered through his telescope. He went to close the window when suddenly, he saw a shimmering, iridescent form.
The air spirit had taken a form of a being just like him, and appeared in a dazzling array of colors. He was entranced, and this was not lost on her. She landed on the balcony and asked to be let in.
Not suspicious at all, he let her in.
