"For as long as this scribe has known her, Oren has only been a reliable and valuable clansmate, and a gentle, friendly soul. She was found surviving the tundra on her own, not entirely unique among others in this clan. What does set her apart, however, is her considerate disposition. For as many hardships as the harsh climate here has thrown at her, she has only proved herself more willing to put others' wellbeing ahead of her own.
It is my understanding that Hemlock valued this trait greatly, and was more than happy to invite Oren into his little circle. She was one of his first recruits, and it was no small blessing. She was quick to get to work on making their meager territory more hospitable for future recruits, and is typically one of the first to welcome newcomers and visitors alike.
Somewhat darlingly, she seems to have a great admiration for Hemlock. It's not surprising, given how similar their natures are. But among the other tundras in the clan, she will be most often seen in his immediate vicinity, whether she is keeping him informed or simply keeping him company."
