Raoul

Studious and patient, Raoul has taken it upon himself to instruct hatchlings in the clan. He teaches magic, reading, dancing, and manners and etiquette of the different dragon races, but always encourages his students to seek out other teachers for areas they are interested in studying.

Raoul left his home clan, nestled in Carrion Canyon in the Shifting Expanse, and set off looking for adventure. And he found it, when he came across a recently-raided caravan near the Sunbeam Ruins — few injured dragons, but significant damage to their cargo crates. A piebald Spiral was frantically pulling floating goods from the river, and he swooped in to help. Seeing this, the caravan master invited Raoul to join them. He was paired for work duties with the Spiral, whose name was Merle, and they quickly became inseparable. When she decided to return to her home clan, he went with her.

Raoul and Merle had four hatchlings together before they amicably ended their relationship, but by then the clan was home. It wasn’t long before a Pearlcatcher named Cyla caught his eye. They now spend time rearing their hatchlings and performing elaborate dances together.
