Biography

Jon is a rescue dragon who came to the clan extremely malnourished.

His traumatic past has caused him to become mute and withdrawn, but we're working to show Jon that he's still wanted and loved. We don't know what has happened to all of his children and asking him causes great sadness to glisten in his eyes.

Jon spends his time curled up in the darkest corner of the lair. He often ends up covered in hatchlings.

"How is he?"

Turning upon hearing a sudden voice, Yarl was met with the sight of one of his fellow clan mates and long time friends walking up beside his reclined form. If the lumbering Gaoler's soft cadence hadn't been recognizable enough, then the earthen aura would have been a dead giveaway to Harper's identity.

"Distant. Doleful," The Guardian rumbled gently in reply to his friend's inquiry. "But he has finally begun to gain weight."

"Some progress is better than none, as slow as it may be," Harper mused with a hum. He went to sit, wobbling a bit before managing to do so. It seemed that the Tundra-turned-Gaoler still wasn't quite accustomed to his new body. Yarl was kind enough not to point this out.

"The healing of unseen wounds can be quite difficult," He explained as he turned his attention forward once more.

"It can," The rose-hued dragon agreed while focusing on the same scene before them, "But that hasn't stopped our dear priestess, has it?"

Yarl could only release a crackling chuckle as the two stared on. "No, it has not."

"...Do you think that she'll be able to get him to come 'round?" Harper asked after a brief pause. Yarl understood his fellow dragon's concern for their most recent addition to the clan.

"Mn. Perhaps." Came the thoughtful response from the wise fire dragon.

Keen gazes glimmered in the low lighting of the deepest corner of the warm lair as the pair continued to observe the single human and painted adult Gaoler resting amidst a massive pile of dozing hatchlings. The scene would have been adorable if it wasn't for the sorrowful expression Jon had, even as he slept.

"...One day."
