Nanahuatzin

Nanahuatzin is the 14th member of his clan to hold that name. His forefathers were all warriors and scholars. All of whom are considered some of the greatest citizens the nation has ever seen in its 4 millennia. Nanahuatzin the XIV is the first to enter the throne war. Since his birth he has been tailored into becoming the best he can possibly be, always striving to be better. This makes him believe almost everyone in the nursery is his rivals, specifically Huitzil and Tepozte. When not training can be found in the library reading all sorts of material from the sciences to politics to how to cook the best Dartfish.

His family is one of the only ones that consistently makes an appearance at the nursery to check on his progress. Despite all his training they are discouraged due to how dominate Huitzil and some others are in the mock battles. As well as they disprove of his girlfriend, Xolotl (Nanahuatzin and Xolotl are the only younglings dating currently). Xolotl and Nanahuatzin both happen to be the 2 oldest younglings at the nursery so they tend to be ahead of a lot of their piers. Xolotl tends to bring a bit of a rebellious side of him out, as per her darker upbringing. He finds her interesting, different, and mysterious, spending time with her is the only thing he does besides train. He also knows who she truly is (a spy) yet he still wishes to be with her despite his heritage.

Instead of ice breath like other ice dragons, he instead is able to control the temperature of anything around him, this includes the air which he likes to change the temperature of to make it harder for Ehecatl to fly using her wind elemental powers. She holds quite a disdain towards him because of it.
