Daemon

Fierce, strong, and proud, Daemon has all the makings of an Alpha, though few know it is because he once was a leader himself. He and his mate Amadis originated from a medium-sized clan, nestled deep within the Gladekeeper's homelands. Their numbers weren't great, but they were guarded by several warriors, all as large and as mighty as the great oaks that stood watch in their territory. For years they did their best to stave off the encroaching beastclans, but the creatures eventually drove them back, deeper into the lush glades. Daemon knew the dangers of fighting alongside his fellow Imperials, but refused to surrender. In the end that was his undoing. The fighting raged on for days, and before he realized his losses he was standing alone on the battlefield.


But he was not alone for long.


The fallen bodies of his brothers and sisters began to move, fusing together into a terrible beast that would ravage the forest, destroying everything in its sight for miles to come. His clan was decimated, leaving only he, his mate, and a few others to flee as fast and as far as he could. Distrustful now of their Imperial leader, and weary from their time on the run, all but his mate abandoned him.


Eventually the two of them found themselves in Starfall Isles, lost in the Starwood strand. It was Sung-Sun who came upon the two of them while foraging, and brought them back to safety and refuge. Daemon pledged both claw and fang, while Amadis lent her healing abilities, and the two found themselves a new home.


Years passed, and he and Byakuya are brothers now in all but blood. Time has only made him more vicious, and he longs to cut down the beastclans wherever they dare to encroach. The trophies of his victories dangle loosely from his wings and neck, but they do little to hinder the damage he deals with each fall of his talons. His prowess in battle has led him to command the clan's fighters. Taking the rank of Beta, he is unyielding in his protection of the dragons under his care. Never again will he suffer a loss like the one that still haunts him.
