Kite is considered to be the mascot of the circus and gained the name "Kite" by having the colors of a colorful kite that one would find in the Cloudsong. Her special eyes give her a lot of attention from regular circus-folk and new visitors alike. Although she doesn't have a specific role to play in the circus performance, the Spiral is considered to be a symbol of high spirits and helps keep the circus members working with happy hearts.

x x xThere is never a moment that Kite is sad; she'll tell you it's a fruitless thing that gets people nowhere. She believes a happy heart is a healthier heart and tries her best to see the good in everything. Her cheery attitude can be rubbed off on even the grouchiest of dragons, as Kite never knows when to quit and will continue to pursue something until it gives. Although she's the mascot of the circus, she likes to travel across the Windswept Plateau and never wants to stay in one place for too long. She still considers the circus her home, but her light body is accustomed to flying wherever the breeze takes her, so she just flies along and waits for the wind to take her back home. Some of the circus members even question if she uses her wings at all, or if she just relies on the strong winds to move her around. |

x x x x x The Spiral has become known to be a trickster as well as an uplifter. When she gets bored, she often moves or misplaces things that causes confusion to its owners. She tries to get to know everyone in the circus, but it might just be a ploy to figure out how to trick her next victim. Regardless, she's grown especially close to Vrinde, who shares similar enthusiasm as Kite, and Zephira, who has travelled around Sornieth and is happy to share her stories with Kite. Although Shardbreaker is a traveller as well, Kite still has yet to break through his cold and stony heart. |
