Nerith

Bearer of the mysterious Red Vessel, a hatchling-shaped totem that fills with fresh, transfusable blood on command.

First and foremost a poet, Nerith's vital artifact is of more value to her for routinely providing a captive audience - dragon transfusions are prolonged affairs, and Nerith's compositions can be heard echoing through her acoustically-ideal, minimalist Sanctum of Transfusion. No other doctor has so radically sequestered a corner of the Hostel - it is the Vessel that Nerith holds that gives them such power, for Cath recognises that, no matter what causes blood to curdle or seep, it is sometimes necessary to put some back in.

Hoard: Functional; a refrigerated archive of blood of all types and breeds. Nerith describes their hunger for a fresh vein, but isn't being literal... we think.
