A little Nocturne looked up high. A little Nocturne learnt to fly. A little Nocturne said goodbye. A little Nocturne became the sky.

At least, that's how the rhyme goes. It's sung to hatchlings of the Nebula Woods as they drift off to sleep. There probably used to be more verses, but this is all that remains.

At night, some dragons swear that parts of the sky move. They swear that some parts of it seem to be alive. In fact, that's part of why the Arcanist was so interested in the Twisted Spire and its surroundings to begin with. Could a dragon really have become part of the night sky? How could such a thing even happen?

The answer, as with most things, lies with the Anomaly at the heart of the Twisted Spire. Ciella mimicked the sky, and so took on aspects of it thanks to the Anomaly's warping effects. Now she's part-dragon, part-spirit. Since she's shy, this has worked out well for her.

Most dragons just think she's a myth, but Ciella has made contact with a couple of residents of the area. Ridgeway for one can see right through her tricks. Primus is aware of her, but hasn't really reached out to her, respecting her privacy. Paige, Candlewick and Ellie have all seen her, even if they're not quite aware of what they saw.
