B I O G R A P H Y

Top of the chain, Ace is the leader of The Beacon. There is no doubt about that. Nope. No sirree. Seriously, why would you care? You have a task to do; shouldn't you be focused on not losing your job ~~and more~~ than asking pointless questions? .....Why are you here anyways? You heard about what happens here, right? ...No? Heh...then you'll learn.

Congrats, you screwed up massively. Enjoy what's rest of your life here in this factory.

Essentially, so I know that you'll spend your last moments suffering, Ace is in charge around here. You know how in companies you've got the boss of you all and then they have a boss of them and that they have a boss of them and so on? Well, Ace is the boss of everything and everyone here, and he refuses to have anyone be his boss so....yeah. Nobody really challenges that. I'm not sure why. I guess everyone's too tired to care. It's not that he's a super caring person who will give out alstroemerias to everyone, or that he's brutally overworks everyone and tortures anyone who can't hit status quo. If anything he's an extremely absent person who doesn't care about anyone. But even, despite the fact that he's not around.....

Listen to me when I say this, and don't freak out or call me a liar: Ace is always watching. His eyes are everywhere. Everyone keeps seeing them everywhere: from the books to the shelves and from the bed sheets to the lanterns. They're just.....everywhere. But they also don't exist, that's the thing. Nobody has actually seen his eyes, at least not in person, but that doesn't mean that they aren't everywhere, constantly staring at us and judging our every move.

......What do they taste like? How would I know? Ask someone who's insane enough to even taste them, not me.

P A S T

Ever since they were a small hatchling, Ace has always been a sickly child. From birth they were constantly throwing up and their frail body was constantly shaking. Their golden scales were dyed a dark purple, mostly from the fact that they were constantly sweating. I suppose it was a good thing that they were also constantly scratching their scales from never ending itches. They were held against their will in their bedroom by their own sickness. They always had their eyes closed. I mean, if you constantly were dripping from pure shadow essence that was overwhelming and seriously irritating, then you would close your constantly leaking eyes as well.

......What? Have you never heard of the Element Surplus illness before?

It's essentially a physical illness that's believed to be incurable. You can take medication to alleviate some symptoms, but it's not like you're going to be skipping around in some flower fields after taking them. It's a thing because the magic that you produce becomes too much for your body to handle, and since it can't handle too much raw magic, it has to expel it in any way possible. Remember, it's raw magic, so it's not the most pretty thing there is......or safest. It tends to be most common for hatchlings since they were born like that, but maturing dragons have supposedly been prone to developing this condition as well. I mean I personally doubt that, but whatever. Most hatchlings perish though since their bodies can't handle too much of anything, hence why it's rare to find any dragons with this illness. ......Is it contagious? No, but the raw magic can definitely be dangerous, even for same-flighters, so be careful.

But yeah. Somehow later on they found themself to being the leader of this weird factory-clan thing. I'm not too sure of the details. Perhaps they founded this place itself. Perhaps they inherited this power from their family or from someone else. Perhaps they took control of everything with brute force. Nobody knows. Not even the creature writing this knows. It's not like anyone would care. In fact, it would be very beneficial for yourself if you decided not to dig for information, since you'll most likely just be digging your own grave then.
