 Born to the General of the small army that is the defense force to the clan of Rune Hive, she felt purpose from the moment she opened her eyes. The magic of her home buzzed through her veins, and her father seemed proud of her and her brothers.

"Born so strong it changes their eyes." He whispered in his ice chilled tone, pressing her to the ground with a battle worn talon. He did not press hard, for she was his daughter and destined for greatness. Her mother watched in mute approval, nuzzling her when he had gone... and then she heard a voice.

"You will leave to find your home. When the time comes you will leave."

Simple. Right somehow.

And somehow she knew when the day came. Her head raised from her father, watching the rapid flight of the nervous spiral that held a scroll tightly in his claws. Her own twitched in anticipation. "I go with you then?"
