Saru

Despite not being the oldest in the clan, Saru certainly acts the wisest. He spent most of his time before joining his new clan simply wandering and observing. He quickly adopted the abandoned Festus and is almost always seen with the young hatchling riding on his shoulders. Saru has also taken up the role of nursemaid for the clan, willingly spending most of his time in the nesting grounds to watch over eggs and hatchlings while their parents continue their daily tasks. He had no urge to find a mate, and acknowledges that his coloration could be desired for other clans and is willing to father eggs as needed, but now he has (though he's rather hesitant to admit it), found a wonderful mate in Striate, and the two regularly travel between their clans to spend time with each other.
