Shadowrin

It was Shadowrin who discovered a lost Tareenah in the Wispwillow Grove, tangled in thorny brambles underneath a glowing shroom. She thought it odd the arcane drake was not discovered sooner with her bright pink coloring. Shadowrin approached her and made polite conversation before deciding the drake was not much of threat and freed her from the thorns.
Shadowrin taught Tareenah how to better sneak around the Woods, until the arcane dragon became so attuned to the grove herself that her scales began to darken in tone. Shadowrin learned much from her in return, learning ways to further observe the world she had already seen.
The unlikely alliance solidified when Tareenah began nesting in the Grove. Shadowrin stayed with her and the arcane's mate as the first clutch was hatched under a wide, low hanging shroom cap. As soon as the eggs hatched, Shadowrin took on the role of teaching them of the Grove, and imbuing them with a bit of the land's energy.
Since that first clutch, Shadowrin has proven a matriarch and pledged to teach the future hatchlings to be Shrouded, a thirst for knowledge as unmatched as their ability to sink into the shadows.
