She was born in a temple, and grew up worshipping the Lightweaver a little more religiously than most dragons until she got sick with an infection from the Plaguebringer's ilk, and was subsequently dumped into the Carrion Canyon where she was found by Styx.

While her sickness isn't fully cured yet, Styx has managed to keep it to where it won't infect anyone else so that she can move about the lair easily. She gets along nicely with The Legion as well, a feat not anyone can accomplish.

Adiris is rather quiet and soft spoken, but loves anything shiny, which is why she has so much jewelry. Her den is decorated with bits of Sacridite and gold ore, and anything shiny she can keep to herself.

She bears no ill will towards Lynne, despite the red dragon being a child under the Plaguebringer's protection who is the underlying cause for Adiris' sickness.

Her disease is unknown, a strain of a plague that nobody can fully cure. As it is, her fur has rotted away in some places, abscesses pepper her body, both scarred and healing, and she smells forever like spoiled meat, despite the sweet flowery scent her lanterns dispense. She's blind in one eye due to the heavy scarring and rot that ate away at her face, white ugly lines marring her body. It's not pretty, but she lives, and that's all she cares about.
