Sunder got his name because he is a fighter. He has been fighting his entire life, fighting for survival, fighting for territory, fighting just for fun. He is a Plague dragon bred and born, not really given a choice for another hobby or life skill. Because of that, he became very good at the only thing he could do.

He often works as a mercenary within the clan, selling his services to those who need protection, assessment, or offense. He does not do much with the wealth he has earned thus way, but he makes sure he is well-equipped to do his job well. He does not worry about luxury, a feature of life that is usually beyond most Plague dragons. He values the fight, values the discomfort that reminds him just how alive he is. But there is nothing wrong with making sure his life is extended because he is well-armored.

Sunder often accompanies Sty when the spiral needs physical assistance. He does not protect his employer so much as he guards the livestock. Sunder has visited the livestock so often that some of them now approach Sunder as though he is familiar, friendly. He isn't, he is neutral to all living creatures, but he is gentle with the beasts because the spiral is insane and Sunder does not want to burn any bridges by injuring one of the beasts.
