Ebrietas is a massive alien entity who inhabits the ominous Altar of Despair. Those who defeat Ebrietas are awarded the Great Isz Chalice and can explore this mysterious labyrinth full of Kin.
Ebrietas is a Great One, which is generally thought to be a kind of god or superhuman being. If she is the equivalent of an "Elder Thing" she would be ranked below Great Old Ones like Cthulhu, and Outer Gods like Nyarlathotep. Based on her traits, she's in no way inferior to the other Great Ones in terms of strength or apparent importance. This does point to Ebrietas being just as godlike as a Great One, and therefore of the same hierarchy.

"Remnant of the Eldritch Truth encountered at Byrgenwerth.
Use phantasms, the invertebrates known to be the augurs of the Great Ones, to partially summon abandoned Ebrietas.

"Great chalices unlock deeper reaches of the labyrinth. The Great Isz Chalice became the cornerstone of the Choir, the elite delegation of the Healing Church. It was also the first Great Chalice brought back to the surface since the time of Byrgenwerth, and allowed the Choir to have audience with Ebrietas."
