What she found out though: she had to fight for every little thing if she wanted to survive. It' seems like a miracle but she really made it through those first weeks of her life; a hard time with close to no room for errors at all. But she made it. And then, they found her. Dragons.. Getting Lux's trust was difficult. A little hatchling who had never ever seen any kind of other Dragon before. They had to outright tame her because she were so wild. After a while though, she got used to her new life. She stopped biting and scratching and finally started talking. It turned out that Lux was actually quite intelligent. Usually, she would get on the nerves of the Clan's scientists and Scholars, asking them questions about the World. As she grew older, Lux became a Scholar herself. But she was restless. Her former life already market her, and she never felt as close to the Clan as she probably should. She loved them.. yet she never felt like she belonged. Another thing was her urge to wander around the area of the Clan. She very well could sit down and do her studies and writings, but not for hours on end like the other Dragons. It was confusing because she enjoyed being a Scholar. Why couldn't she stay away from the wild..? |

Family. A word that meant a lot, but yet nothing to her. What is family? The answer seemed to lay within those Clan's wich had hatchlings when she visited them. Little baby Dragons who got all the love of their parents. Surely, Lux had parents too, right? But then again, she hadn't. She had been found.. but what did that mean for her life? Had she been loved? Well, actually, yes. Her Clan had loved her a lot. But... she never felt at home. Some more time passed. Lux now crossed the lines to the lands of the Shadowbinder. She had been in every land so far.. but it was her first time ever in the Tangled Woods. Being inside the forest brought long forgotten memories back to life. Somehow this place reactivated her first ever childhood memories. It was nerve-wracking but also strangely comforting. As if she... yeah, she had been here before! It was here in the Tangled Woods when she hatched! This was the first place, she ever called home. Lux decided to stay here for a little longer than usual, trying to finally come to terms with herself. It really helped.. but she missed the company of other Dragons... And that was the Moment she crashed into the Land of the Ghostly Wisps. They seemed strange at first, but nice. And they invited her to stay at their Clan's Lair. Lux accepted their offer and followed them to the weirdest, yet most awesome Lair, she had ever visited bevor. Lux stayed way longer than she thought she would.. realizing that she wasn't planning on ever leaving. She wanted to stay. This strange Clan of Ghosts made her feel at home. A feeling she never felt bevor. She asked the Leader of the Clan if she could be a part of them. Shadow gave her a heartwarming answer: "You already are." |
