Biography
A surly and quiet presence in the clan, Zlugt is known for little other than his fighting skills. He doesn't have many close friends, and travels between clans a lot without explaining exactly why. Those who are brave enough to strike up conversation with him know that he hates the Beastclans with a passion, and those who probe more get snarled at to mind their own business.
Entry in the clan records:
I grew up in a small lair on the edges of the Starwood Strand. My childhood was fairly idyllic, but I was always aware of a sense of danger that pervaded our clan. I was taught basic self defense as soon as I was big enough to bite, my parents always told me to stay safely within the borders of the clan, and every old dragon in our clan was streaked with scars.
I didn't really question this until the first time I heard the bells ringing, and all the hatchlings were rushed into hiding. Outside, we saw a herd of centaurs decimate the clan, while the dragons we loved fought back tooth and claw. Most lost the fight, including my father. After that, I vowed to become a strong enough fighter to defend my family from the next attack.
While other hatchlings left the clan, I trained and got stronger over the years, becoming head of the guard and organising our defense systems. The attacks remained frequent, until one year they finally stopped. Obviously suspicious, I decided to survey the surrounding areas to see if the Beastclan threat was gone or not. I left my best warriors to keep the clan safe.
But when I got back, the clan had been slaughtered. I'll never forgive myself for leaving the clan that day. I don't know if I could've made a difference, but dying beside my brothers would have been better than seeing their corpses, riddled with arrows. So I keep fighting, every day. And with every slash of my claws I imagine I'm tearing those creatures apart.
