Seeker order
wiki_therewerefiveorders.png
The Windswept plateau is an excellent place to hear all the rumors of the land, and (name) uses this to her advantage. She is a seeker, and listens for any sign of shade activity. She follows promising trails with the ultimate goal of containing any shade remnants that find themselves hiding around sornieth. She takes her job very seriously. She is very independent and a bit of a loner, preferring to rely on herself rather than her fellow clanmates. They do their best to accommodate her (admittedly few) needs. She is thankful for this, but would never be caught saying so aloud.

At the entrance to the clan council, a gaoler awaits. This is the first time in many centuries she has traveled out of the winding maze of cells home to the many shade-touched abominations. Her previous life was always very routine and rigid, a boring day was a good day. Here it was almost overwhelming, the sheer sensory input compared to the drab caverns she once surveyed. Out here, everything was bright, music plays from somewhere while dragons go about their daily business, conversations carrying through the air/wind as some ride the air currents to and fro. She begins to shuffle her feet, this whole affair has her antsy, but it will do no good to show weakness, especially in this new shade-steeped world. when facing any bit of shade.

"come in" calls a clan elder and general council member.

She steels herself before stepping inside the threshold.

"Hello-" she starts, observing the room around her, if one could call it that. A large space allows meetings to be held both on the ground and in the air, meanwhile a few wind chimes ring nearby in the gentle breeze. Taking a quick whiff of the air, there is no immediate danger, though she can sense the inquisitive nature of the dragon across from her.

"My name is Elizabeth, I am one of the clan's primary council members. And who might you be?" the strange dragon asks while looking her up and down. This one is a 'spiral', she concludes, based on what she learned from a friendly dragon outside.

"My name is ___ and I come from (X). My duty is to seek out any traces of the shade and contain them, I have come here to continue my work."

"A noble yet dangerous goal, not many would take up such a job" the spiral muses replies. "I've never seen a dragon such as yourself before, even in my many years of traveling..." she begins to trail off.

"That is to be expected. I am a Gaoler, we are just returning to the surface after our many centuries of isolation. The world has changed greatly in that time, might I enlist the guidance of those familiar with it?"

"Welcome back!" the spiral exclaims, perhaps a bit too excitedly. "I'll tell you what, I can see you are an honest individual. Why don't you join our clan? We can provide you with a space to live, and the other clan members can assist you with any questions you may have. In exchange, you will be expected to get along and not cause any fights. I'm sure many of your new clanmates would be extremely interested in learning more about Gaolers."

She blinked.
Well. That was sudden.
She thought it would take a lot more negotiation to pass through, nevermind stay here.

"Well, um, thank you for your generous offer" she hesitantly responded, "but I do not wish to become a burden to you or the rest of your clan"

"What? No, of course not. Don't worry about it. After all...(more hree something idk)"

She nodded

"okay then, it's decided! Wait here for a second, I'll be right back" Elizabeth said as she zoomed out, surprisingly agile for her age. She was back a few minutes later, this time in the company of a (dragon).
"This here is X, he/she will guide you around and show you where you will be staying. let them know if you have any problems, and we'll see what we can do"

She was then led out, with X close behind.

"I suppose it's time to get settled, eh?" she said as they walked to what would become her new home.

Out for a day on an adventure.
It had been about a week since (she) had been welcomed into this lair, and in the time since she has learned the layout of the area and even managed to meet a few others. Today though, it was time to quit sitting around and begin searching. As it turns out, you can hear a lot of interesting things just by visiting an open air market. There was some sort of rumor being passed around about a haunted bamboo grove, and (she) figured it was as good a place as any to start. It could vry well be a hoax, but it was her sworn duty to go out and find the shade, so what kind of seeker would she be if she ignored this trail?
Unfortunately, it seemed that the whisoered location was quite a ways from the main populated areas. She was loathe to admit it, but it was time to get some help.
