Sonya the Melody
She's intelligent, humorous, whimsical and just a little selfish with those she doesn't know very well. This is partly because she grew up treated like a precious gemstone and absolutely spoiled rotten with love and attention.

When it came time for a clan member to change who and what they were to follow the matron's plans, she was first to step up, even though she did not know her future partner Gourmet very well at the time. Patience and diligence met her with some intense challenges, at first they did not get along-partially because of his previous life of hardship and partially because of their age difference-but she devoted herself to growing and learning, giving him time and space.

Taking her place as an entertainer for the lair, she often spends her free time speaking softly with Gourmet, rarely leaving his side unless there is a guest to the lair that she knows has good stories or songs for her to learn. These days they are about inseparable, nesting in the lower reaches of the lair where the stone is coolest and venturing out in the early dawn to talk quietly as they ready the clan for the morning's breakfast and early training.
