Trivia:
X- Devin sees the ' wonder ' in all things. He is fascinated by anything new, and he is very expressionate with his emotions. His eyes will grow wide, and he likes to ' see with his hands ' - meaning he will touch pretty much everything all the time. This isn't always a good thing.
X- Since he was an active hatchling, not to mention fearless - he has quite a few minor scars. Nothing serious, but his hands, feet, knees and elbows are clearly ' well used '. This doesn't bother him at all, and he'll gladly tell the stories about how he got the scars.
X- Devin is very talkative. He's the sort of person who it's hard to have over for a sleep-over, because he'll talk all night. He also loves leaving the nest at night to go and catch frogs. Devin--- Please go to sleep already.
X- His biggest fear is being locked up or chained. He sometimes have nightmares that someone will come and lock him in a cage. Whenever he has this sort of nightmare, he ends up crying. It's more or less the only thing that can make him cry.
X- The perfect mate for Devin would be someone who shares his love for exploring. having someone as free-spirited as himself to go on adventures with would mean the world to him. It's impossible to get him to ' settle down ' in one place, so his mate needs to be someone who doesn't mind moving around a lot. His mate also needs to be able to deal with his energy level, which is obviously high.

Devin is the middle-brother out of the three from Zayin and Thames' second nest. He hatched on the 8th of June, The Anniversary - the day when magic is at its strongest. Just like his brothers, he too possesses strong magic. Both because his parents are mages ( his father is especially powerful ), and because of the magic that flowed through the world on the day he hatched. Devin stands apart from his brothers because he is curious. While the two others have certain things they are interested in, Devin always wants to try new things. See new places. He is the sort of person who can't sit still for long. He'll get restless very easy, and he's always got something in his hand to fiddle with. A twig, or a straw - anything to keep his fingers busy. In his dragon form, Devin is very similar to his father in terms of apperance. He probably would've bonded better with him, if it hadn't been for his inability to keep his interests fixated on one thing. Learning magic became too one-sided. While he's supposed to be a mage, his dream-profession changes from day to day. One day he wants to become a gardener, the next day a guardian. One thing that doesn't changes is that he always wants to explore. He isn't exactly careless, but he believes that ' things will work out ', a trait he has inherited from his mother. This does cause him to sometimes land himself in not-so-good situations. Thankfully, his strong magic is able to keep him safe. Devin's human form is the tallest out of the brothers, and he is taller than his father. He maintains his dark, green skin, with white beauty-spots that are like ' stars '. When he his excited, these spots glow in the dark. His build is a bit more athletic than his brothers'. This comes in handy, because Devin doesn't just use his dragon form when he explores. Being in a smaller, human form is good for exploring narrow caves. Apart from his white beauty-spots, the lightest part of him are his eyes. They stand out because of his dark skin. He really like his dark complexion, because it's perfect for hiding in the woods. Already when he was a hatchling, his need to explore was strong. It didn't take him long to map out the place where he was born. The visited every part of the garden, and the forest surrounding it. Sometimes he would be alone, but most of the time, he would bring his older brother, Cyril. Devin was the ' leader ' of the two, as he was the bravest one, and also the most eager to explore. When Cyril went back to their mother after getting enough adventure for one day, Devin would just continue on his own. He likes to tell stories about the ' adventures ' he had as a hatchling, and it's true that he... Doesn't always tell the exact truth about what happened. He changes it a little bit, to make himself appear even braver. Even though Devin loves the nature flight he was born into, he would very much like to find different parts of the world. He wants to see deserts or oceans or wastelands! All the brothers share a fear of shadows and the shadow flight, but Devin isn't afraid. He doesn't believe the stories about the shadow flight that is told around the lair he was born. No matter what happens, he will believe that everything will work out, and his courage will be his support. Life is pretty easy when all you want to do is something new. Leaving the nest is something he has been looking forward to! And so his story begins - Continue his story from your lair! [/size] |
