______ Everest was told many things by his clan mates, he was a surprise, a miracle, he might very well have saved Kihor and Aria. Given these statements, the truth is perhaps underwhelming. Everest was found as an egg, alone and cold, by Kihor one day as he was scavenging. Though the tundra was still grief stricken at the loss of his first nest, he scooped up the egg without hesitation. Taking it home to the camp, he excitedly showed Aria his find. The guardian was understandably wary at first, but quickly warmed up to the idea of taking the egg in. The clan leaders were overjoyed when a few days later, a beautiful guardian hatchling emerged from their found egg.

______ Magic had always come naturally to Everest. Though not particularly skilled in hunting or claw to claw combat, his casting abilities were second to none in the clan, save perhaps Lumeria. Very early on her discovered this he couldn’t heal his clan mates, or at leas not as effectively as Caradoc could, but he was excellent at tracking by magical means. Over time, Everest has begun to learn to harness the magic of the nearby forest for his casting, and the forest in turn has accepted him as its own. Everest is a formidable combatant in any border skirmish.
