Colored sand slips through his fingers, landing into place amidst the sweeping veins of a mandala that covers the smooth terrace stone. The scents of spices and herbs and the wafting smoke of incense fill the air as he works. Hours pass before the piece is finished, yet it takes but a few moments before the winds pick up and gently blow the grains of sand astray. It is in the shifting of his works that Mandala can feel the emotions of others, using this insight to help them heal.
