NERIYA : Rogue : Silent Paws Aura
Your name is NERIYA. According to your parents, immediately from HATCHING you never CRIED, instead gazing minutely at your SURROUNDINGS. You never made a single sound, just BLINKED and WAVED, until you learned to read and write Common Draconic. (You never really saw a reason to? And your parents got you a small chalkboard to write messages on that you still have tucked away in a corner of your room.)
Even growing up, you stood out from the rest of the hatchlings. You never seemed to PANIC, CRY or even THROW TANTRUMS. When you once got lost in the KELP BEDS near your DEN, you stayed still, remaining un-noticed by a nearby HOSTILE PATROL OF MAREN until your CLANMATES found you (after getting said Maren out of the way.) It was very ODD, to you and to your family; that you seemed to SLIP UNDER THER RADAR unless you wanted to be NOTICED.
EVENTUALLY, however, you figured out with SCRIBE that your ability to go UNSEEN was due to your AURA, which was (oddly enough) SHADOW in flight, instead of the WIND or NEUTRAL that your parents used. Scribe THEORIZED, that if AURAE could be passed on through bloodline, then your Aura were probably the result of GENES that became DOMINANT, from a distant SHADOW ancestor who had the same AURA and therefore gave you those genes. From there, it was a ROLL OF THE DICE to see what ABILITY you'd be hatched with, with your PARENTS' AURAE being the MOST LIKELY, and likelihood of ANCESTOR AURAE becoming dominant decreasing with EVERY GENERATION of DESCENDANTS without said aurae becoming dominant. It was also PROBABLE that several EXTREMELY RARE AURAE had become lost this way.
You keep to YOURSELF a lot, unless you are AT HOME with YOUR FAMILY. At night, you sometimes like to ESCAPE to the surface, stalking the FORESTS that mark the edge of the BEACHES. You and FREUDE share the roles of keeping tabs on people, however your PURPOSES differ; Freude is sent to DELIVER A MESSAGE, while you COLLECT INFORMATION and LEAVE UNNOTICED.
